I signed up for a certain company that offers a 4mbps connection in London (see previous posts by me if interested).

Signed up on 31st August.

Still not connected.

Rang them up and they claim its down to BT now as BT have to update the exchange with my details.

I was under the impression that once a exchange was updated to broadband, new users could be added remotely?

The broadband supplier also claimed they didn't inform BT for 2 weeks after i signed up... that normal?

guess who needs more mp3s...

Indeed it does... woof!

They're doing shed loads of advertising at the moment on the tube so they can't be short of money... hope they get their finger out and sort it all out

It's business class (i.e. it's reliable enough to run a business on it, comes with 8hr fix, doesn't suffer from contention etc. etc.) so it's well over £100 per month.

Not exactly cheap for home users - but as they say, you get what you pay for...

Fair enough, but for a personal use, Bulldog's deal is a bargain. Lets just hope the service is reliable... :fingerscrossedsmilie:
