BBC website says 7 degrees here in Southsea!
My body tells me much less.
My car has frost over it.
My lawn has frost all over it.
Sun is out and blueish sky (teasing me out by making it look tropical)
Time to get on the bike then and do a 40 mile loop to Chichester and back!!
Enjoy yours days riding all!!

Ronde Van Calderdale completed, 34 miles with over 4000ft of climbing, the organisers must have found every cobbled climb in the Halifax area.
Made it round with just over 13mph average, and we only finished 5 minutes behind the fastest group of three and I had a puncture. Bloody hard work.
Got too hot, only had a pair of bib tights and a light jersey on as well.

T'was chilly in Dorset / Hants too... still, 54 miles in the bag, including a 25% climb in Blissford

Was out at 8.30am, was fantastic. Crisp, sun shining and empty roads.
Went to watch my brother in the Pittards Road Race in Yeovil. Was a good day, he won the juniors.
I did a nice 52mile loop with 3300ft, moving average 18mph.
I did about 10miles of the race route, was great as they thought I was racing and held traffic back at every junction!
Ah edit to add. Garmin says average temp of 5, although the sun made it feel much warmer when wearing black.

I was. Weather was lovely - NY Moors. Keen frost but the sun was warm. Pinch-flatted the front on a DH and when I got home I found what was causing the bumping sensation when I was pedalling along the road back to my house. The tyre is split from bead to tread and the tube was poking out about half an inch. How the hell it stayed inflated for the whole ride I'll never know.
Went and did 54km as usual. Including my usual slog up Zig Zag road. Damn my 42x23 smallest gear!
More disappointed by the hordes of people at the cafe at the top.
[Rant!]
The cafe is not the place to stop.
It is not the place to "chit chat"
There is no Halfway point.
There is no stop at the cafe in Paris-Roubaix.
There is no cafe in Triathlon.
There is and only ever will be one option when on a bike
Keep going, and go faster you lazy b
d![/rant!]
On a related note I appear to have passed Phil Gilbert this morning. Since I saw a white jersey with rainbox bands. He looks a lot fatter in real life than compared to when he's on the TV. Must have been having an off day since he was very slow
