Hi, just joined the forum here. Bit late I know, but I used to own C19 ERB and put that private plate on it. I sold the car in 2007 with about 43K miles in the clock, sounds like it hasn't been used much since. The car was purchased new in 2001 by Mr McCabe (the truck company) from Fernhurst in Hasselmere. When I bought the car, it had a full service history. I purchased the car from Dream Machines TVR in Heathfield (now closed) and had the car serviced there every year. At about 40K miles the car had a new clutch and gear box and during my ownership about three starter motors (notorious for chewing through these). Other than that, the car was incredibly reliable and I drove it every day for a summer season one year and it never let me down. Obviously I cannot comment on its condition now, as it has been about 5-6 years since I sold it. I believe the guy who bought it was called Steve, so may be this same guy. Hopefully the new owner will get the car back on the roads and in a really good condition again.

This sounds a good buy, why bother paying more for a 4.5 ?

Reading above the Cat D does not put people off if they can show before & after details.

Some have said Cat D can be preferable to an unloved car, so price wise could have bargain with spare cash for things that can go bump on a good cerb or bad ones as we all know!

The light's 50-50 some like silver cars some only Black etc, in fact I seem to recall you giving some poor bloke hell a while back.
He said there were specific colours of car that he would reject. Your point was how daft that was as he could miss a very good car in Tip Top condition due to the colour!!
teacher Pot calling CBER kettle please come in biggrin;)
