Ive recently bought a 2008 Cayman in mint condition, low milage with gen 2 rear end

I love the looks and handling but very disappointed with the power.

I posted a free treads to disscuss different options but also would like to discuss boosting the power

Are there companies who can get more power out of a standard cayman, making it cayman S power? If so, what would they do and what sort or money are we talking

DJO69, if you want more power, just stop fannying around and buy one of these ! This one even has your initials on it biggrin

Of course, you will never be able to use it more than part throttle.....is only suitable for drag strips ( not any UK roads ), and is too fast to ever be fun. I'm only typing this on day release from prison as owning this car means I feel compelled to do 192 MPH everywhere. The 991 C2S however (which would leave any 996 / 997 Turbo for dead) is apparently not too fast though and is perfectly acceptable. Oh, and anything with a <= 2.9 is fine also....unless it has PDK in which case its pants (forget most 991s have PDK). Gotta love PH...welcome to the asylum ! biggrinbiggrin

Only 192mph........ Tsk you are slowing down- must be old age :-)
Seriously though OP if you are after more power then a different car may be the way to go.

Indeed. It is far cheaper in the long run and much easier.

Modding your cayman will achieve limited results and may actually lower its value. I know some people enjoy the process but its just a waste of time and cash in my view.
