Well after a very happy few years of ownership I have sold my Wedge. She was collected by a nice chap called John this morning and taken off for a new life in Holland.

What I will miss;

1 The whole exitement of the driving experiance from firing up to switching off at the end. driving
2 Creeping into the garage just for a look
3 The friendly and helpful people I have met at the Wedgefest and on here.

What I wont miss;

Not much!

The good news for the rest of you is now I have sold her, values will probably go through the roof in the next couple of years!

Should this not happen then don't be surprised to find me browsing the classifieds in a year or two. Seems to happen to many who part with their Wedges, regret it and go looking for another.

Cheers

Paul

Was there a 'first refusal' clause in the sale Paul?

Let's just say he knows how to get in touch should he ever decide to sell! However as he still owns a Vixen he has had since he was 19 I suspect he will be a long term owner.
How you getting on with selling your Chim Wyn?

Still got it. Long story with people pulling out etc. Will probably keep it now for the summer at least. Did a trackday Saturday at Llandow & thoroughly enjoyed. These things really go well on track. There was a Tuscan Challenge Racer there too, awesome experience being overtaken by it & trying to keep up. driving . cloud9

Hi Anthony, not replacing her for the time being. Main reason for selling was I rarely get time to use a car like this at the moment due to other commitments. However the empty space in my garage will probably start nagging me at some point in the not too distant future!
Still got the Cerbera?

Hi all,

I’m the chap who collected Paul’s wedge last Sunday. I can imagine that you find it sad that another piece of TVR heritage went aboard. However, I like to comfort you with the knowledge that it went to a good home.
As Paul mentioned, I already have a restored Vixen and I'm a TVR nut since I was 12 years old. This one will keep her company in the garage and will be used at every possible occasion. When I collected the car, I took it home for a 400mile drive. It didn’t miss a beat and I couldn’t help myself smiling all the time, which is a lot on a 400mile drive. Thanks Paul for letting her go.

Cheers
John
