Some of you may recall I parted company with my X308 XJR to a caring home as in Lester Shaw last year.
I must have been on medication.
Well after 9 months of being a grumpy bast**** and temporarily moving into the S class Merc I have struck a deal with Lester to get it back. The Merc is a fantastic car but it can wait another ten years for me.
People may talk to me again now in the Jag instead of ignore me in the Merc !
Think it was Jaguarsteve who said I'd be back and he was right.
Can't wait to get the car back.....
Lester has highlighted a potential issue and I am looking for input please, what he has said is that at cold and low speed the steering has become heavy and the indications are its a sensor.
I have done more digging and it COULD be a sensor on the steering rack, however it appears that you can't just buy the sensor, its a new wsteering rack.
Anyone got thoughts about this ?
