GL Owners? Anyone able to check something for me?

I've got a 57 plate GL which has just been in for some warranty work on the rear arches (they are prone to losing the paint on the inner edge of the lip, leading to surface corrosion).
Having just got it back we have noticed something about the centre console that we don't recall noticing before so I wonder if a fellow GL owner could check their car and see if it is the same?
At the bottom of the console, below the suspension controls and above the ash tray, does your GL have any form of trim fitted UNDER the bottom lip? See photo below ....
If might have always been like this but we don't recall it being so "untidily" finished as this. We were wondering if a bit of trim is missing, maybe from some other work I have done in the last couple of months ....
