Septorhinoplasty and Turbinate trimming???

Anyone here had this done?

I've had nasal problems for years and went to my ENT Doctor today for a consultation to see what can be done.

I had the lovely camera up my nose, which couldn't get up one side because the nasal passage is too small.

Apart from having to pay NZ$10,000 to get it done, I cant wait to finally be able to breath properly.

So if anyone else has had this done, how much better did breathing etc become?

I had it done and it didn't work. Seriously considering having another go. Apparently results are often "variable".

Sounds like you've got it pretty bad though if he couldn't get the camera up one side, so I would imagine you'd get some sort of relief.

What are you nasal valves like?
