Is that price correct??, seem a bit high. 6th is May bank hol, will it not be full of weekenders on that day, maybe not at that price, you might have it all to yourself Simon wobble

Generaly on the more expensive days you get the higher performance cars and tend not to get the Normal Road car stuff , and its actualy pretty cheap for Silverstone , most want £399 with no grub voucher !!

ive done the budget days and they are not fun !!

I suppose it makes sense, if you want to play on track with more expensive cars, you've got to pay more for the honour.

Well done Dave , i enjoyed Blyton but found it heavy on brakes .

Now Snobbery ment more a case of safety and performance , The cheaper days just do not feel so safe .

Whilst my post may have come across as sarcastic, I didn't mean it that way. I guess these days are more likely to attract the more expensive stuff to play with smile

Simon, I'll likely come along and will try and rope in a few others. Haven't driven Silverstone, so keen.

I don't quite achieve your velocities and the key for me is plenty of unobstructed run off while I remember how to corner

Great news guys , be good to get a few Nobles there , unfortunately I do not know how many spaces there are so do not leave it too late to book as weekends and holidays tend to go quick !!!
£60 for a garage and normaly we can get 4 cars in easy so if anyone is interested ill book a garage and share the cost ??

Couple of big stops and a short lap Dave so just keep an eye on brake temps .

I'll try and make this one too, be good to get the car on silverstone.
I agree with some of the comments made, one of my best days was with RMA and they're certainly not cheap. I done donington earlier this year and it was cheap, I spent most of my time keeping out the way of idiots and sitting in the pits waiting for the red lights to go out while they cleared up the mess. Also saw a nice three way smack!

I also find Blyton not particularly suited to the Noble having done it a few times. Actually preferred it in a lower powered car as the gearing was more suited. Plus like Tux says, heavy on brakes without really getting any great speeds up. But considering a day normally costs £80 - £120 it is good value.

On the subject of pricing I have wondered for a while what extra you get for your money on tracks like Silverstone. Is it just the prestige? I've done a few days now, mostly at my 2 most local circuits, Blyton and Cadwell (generally £100 - £200/day) and they've always been pretty well run, often including free instruction.
Really want to do Silverstone this year but is it really worth the cost of 2 days at Cadwell?

Hi Paul , it's hard to justify the price with words but those that have driven the track will all support the cost !!!!
Turning into copse at 75ish mph then flying through the complex as fast as you dare then getting onto the hanger for a proper flat out blast is just epic !!

While I enjoyed blyton it's just not in the same league as Silverstone , the GP circuit is the best test of a noble there is other than Spa , and with proper run off ect it's the safest track day you will do !!

Here is a few laps of the international circuit last Sunday , great fun .

I fully understand the increased costs for time on the bigger tracks, better facilitys, more demand, maintenance costs, etc etc

I don't understand why more of you aren't keen though, if I had silverstone on my doorstep I'd be there half a dozen times a year, sadly its a weekend away job for me with hotels, £300+ worth of fuel there and back being up here, you guys are spoilt for choice! frown

I will do silverstone this year at some point, its a must do.

I don't think I can do that date Si, hopefully there will be another Silverstone date later in the year.
