hi all, had a great weekend at snett, few issues in qualy and the start of the race with my brakes bound on again, but once they eased up i got on it chasing down the pack, managed to get up to third with second a possibility and promptly run out of fuel, bloody thirsty engine!!
managed the fastest lap overall so quite chuffed really, running out of fuel just made me laugh.
second race was an allcomers job, qualied 4th and finished 4th. good fun though, great to get back in the car.
regards
Tim.

he must have a gas conversion as he only used 25 litres in 40 mins, but then again mine is a 7 litre rover lump producing around 800 horses!!biggrin

Ah.... yes I was the one expecting to run out of fuel with only a 35 litre tank for a 40 minute race! Imagine my surprise at the end when we dipped the tank to discover 10 litres left, but I was short-shifting down both straights! That's my first race since OP in Oct 2011 and with the TVR Power re-fresh, so quite pleased - roll on Silverstone for James.
