I've trialled it on my own car and I'm now offering it for wheels and other trim, durable, lovely finish . Not yet doing whole cars until later in the year .

The upside... It protects the paintwork, looks quite cool (till matt goes out of fashion)

The downside... Its an absolute nightmare to keep clean, if your anal about your car it will never be streak free and you cant polish it (well you can but it makes it look worse)

The upside to the downside is it peels off.

wink

PS If your DIY make sure you use the correct additives, otherwise you'll be in big trouble removing it.

I asked the company in Manchester about gloss finish and they said yes and that you could polish it?

The fun thing is, I can have the colour for a year that I can't afford to get painted and then peal it off and leave my own paintwork untouched and thats pretty cool smile

You can get an additive to increase the gloss level. And it doesnt damage the paintwork underneath, only protects it, from chips and light scratches.

Cheers for that, I would not want just the matt version to be honest as I am a shiny car freak!

At best with the glossifier youll get a satin finish, if you want shiny you might be better with a wrap, plenty gloss colours in that now.

Done a lot of research and I think I am going to have to give up shiny for a year to have a first of its kind in the UK and have a one off colour mixed. Should be fun smile

There was an article about an Impreza that was plastidipped purple on the homepage a while back, might be worth a read.
