Kit manufacture: Revell
Scale: 1/24
Type: 2009 Mercedes C-Klasse Ralf Schumacher
Extras used:
Paints and colours used: Tamiya X-18 + Xtracrylics Matt Varnish

Bargain for a tenner from TK-Maxx. As good as any Tamiya kit but some decals needed extra care.
Glad I have finally found a decent matt varnish with Xtracrylics, just need to find a gloss one now.

Think I will finish my 1/48 Revell F-105G Wild Weasel next.

If you don't mind me asking what are you using as the backdrop for your images?

Thanks.
All I use is a couple of sheets of A4 paper and then photoshop out the joins and edges where it doesnt extend far enough. You can see where I missed a bit on the overhead shot at the bottom.

That's just a lot more than pretty smile

Gorgeous springs to tongue immediately

As for the varnishing material I use Tamiya aerosols, I used their semi gloss (?) for my ASR Wessex because I didn't want it too shiny. The finish was excellent, I'm sure their gloss would be equally good.

Very very nice. I need to pick one of the Revell DTM models up just for the wheels for another project.

I'm about to start using Liquitex satin varnish, which gets very good reviews on other model sites. They do a gloss as well, I believe, but I tend to stick with Zero clear for shiny shiny stuff.
