Previously I was driving around in my granddad's old Punto. FSH, 26k from new, never let him down, very economical - naturally the only sensible thing to do was sell it on and buy something older. Saw this on ebay only a few miles away, and drove it away for £250 with tax and test. Paintwork is tatty and a few dents, but starts and drives just how it should., with 1300cc of pure fury mated to the ultra luxurious 3 speed automatic gearbox.
Unfortunately part of the reason it was so cheap was that some pondlife broke into it, damaging the door and destroying the ignition but failing to hotwire it.
The lack of steering lock is going to prove a problem come MOT time..........
First step was the addition of some Watanabe RS wheels, worth more than the car itself. I was going to add an AE86 style stripe, but the decided that looked too much like hard work, so I just gave it a tidemark instead. Currently on the hunt for a lowering kit, and I have some Japanese style wing mirrors to fit on once it stops raining. Would like to find a replacement door, but locating one being broken for parts is proving a tall order.

More importantly, any updates on your Yugo?
Even its own mother would be hard pushed to call the rear end attractive. Practical though. It's also front drive (if it was rrar you could add an extra digit to the price) and afaik shares nothing with the ae86More importantly, any updates on your Yugo?
Yugo hasn't moved to be honest, but I have someone who can do the welding once the weather clears up, so hopefully on the road in time for summer.
Found some lowering springs in time for Japfest. Oddly the back barely changed at all, although you can see the difference on the front. Best thing is that the ride hasn't changed, and I haven't managed to scrape it on anything. Also fitted the Datsun1200 wing mirrors. Aside from the ongoing search of the missing parts, I'd say that's pretty much it and will likely put it up for sale soon
