Hood Dillema

I need to replace the hood on the chim and have had quotes that range from £650 for an off the self part to £1200 for a bespoke made to order one.

Does any one have any experience of any trimmers local to Farnborough in hants or any idea if the extra cash is worth it for a custom made hood.

The prices are both fitted rear section and recover the targa panel.

I don't want to have a go my self as it is way outside my skill set.

just had one fitted to my chimaera in st albans, a guy called Gary creasey 01582 629716 top job and top man, the griff went in today to have a new hood aswell, can't wait to see it. cheaper than you have been quoted and top quality.

I spoke with them at the Neil Garner open day. Main problem is getting the car there and back the fuel cost negates any saving.
