There was no point putting 'We've Moved' signs up as they would have lasted about 4 days before being turned in to rubble!

The move happened over the weekend and we are back to normal now - just in a different place!

Are TVR finally going to get a decent slice of the showroom or is it going to be the same as the existing one - Fiat, Alfa and Lotus and I think I saw a TVR out back somewhere?

I`d heard that they`d chopped in the Alfa Franchise, so I guess it`s just TVR and Lotus now, with a bit of Ferrari servicing on the side..

We've got 6' spikey fences and guard dogs so should be ok for security!

No more Alfa sales, I'm afraid but we are still a franchised dealer for Alfa and Fiat Service.

The showroom (currently shared with Jaguar) has new and used Lotus on Display and TVR, Ferrari, Porsche etc. at the Service Centre. Service for TVR, Lotus, Morgan and Ferrari is all at the Nuffield Estate with the Parts Dept.

Originally I thought this was a stupid idea but I've decided it's actually inspired. With a showroom buried in the middle of the Nuffield, the only passing trade is likely to be from the local workers who drive around in clapped out Sierras. They'll wander in and be delighted to buy a TVR for 10 grand (on credit).

They'll then thrash it about until it rains when they'll crash. They won't be able to afford to repair it (and it won't be insured) so they'll flog it back to Westovers at much reduced price. Westovers can then fix it and re-sell it at a much increased price, in the new showroom that's conveniently located right next to the bodyshop. Genius!

So the showroom for TVR is at the Service Centre...

... and the service centre is in the Nuffield Estate. Hence the showroom is in the Nuffield estate? Which is the impression I got from the flyer which I got through the post. Or am I missing something?

I see what you mean!

There is no showroom for TVR, Ferrari etc at the moment. Eventually, we will have a new showroom built in West Quay Road which will have all our cars in one place.

In the meantime, all cars we cannot display in the Jaguar showroom will be at the Nuffield location - so viewing is by appointment.
