Starting work on a cruise ship..

As some of you already know, I'm leaving the UK in little over a week (20th) to start work with Seabourn Cruise Line.

Just a quick post to see if anyone has worked on a cruise ship before, or if they've had any dealings with Seabourn...?

Aside from the usual "don't sink" and "don't get attacked by pirates", any advice or nuggets or info would be appreciated!

Always be 110% nice- big tippers on cruise ships! Some if not most also leave an additional tip, on top of the service charge

My step dad worked the cruise liners back in the 50s/60s, used to get massive tips looking after the rich Americans.

1. Find some rich widow, and service her needs.
2. Get her to buy you a Rolex from the shop on board.
3. Sell it back to the shop once she's safely ashore. (Have arrangement sorted out with a friendly staff memeber in th shop first.)
4. Rinse (or scrub dilligently) and repeat.
5. Buy house outright for cash on your return to the UK.

I knew a girl who did this for a few years, had a great time getting shagged from bow to stern and then back again.

She did it for a few years, saved a load of money, came back to the UK, bought a house and got married. Not sure her husband knows how many her portholes have been slammed.

Only thing she said was that lower level staff get treated pretty badly and that there was a lot of petty thieving on board so don't take anything valuable.

Seabourn, top cruise line, right up there with Regent, been on Regent ships twice before, crew were brilliant, you should have a blast.
