private plates

Whilst playing on the internet its clear thar TVR number plates seem to be limited in supply and therefore command a premium. I would of thought that there would be more TVR number plates which include "sag" and "grf" etc than cars ever made? Maybe someone has a vast collection?

I refused to pay the premium so I use TRV, which seems more appropriate for a Trevor, or Trev, than TVR???

Cheap enough for normal cars too.

I phoned around various dealers, who often keep plates, and got a really good deal on mine X3S0X for the T350
Might be worth a call around...

Not helping at all, but why don't the DVLA just chill out and offer reasonably priced plates for the masses? In The US, if it is available, you can have it. It costs a whopping $25 per year where I am. A nice money-spinner for the state!

I did 3-years in USA. You are correct for Virginia, or whatever State you are living in, but if you are unlucky enough to go to Nebraska, they want a wopping $250 + for a private plate - Every State is subtly different!!

But you are correct - DVLA are a rip-off!!

Hear Hear but it'll never happen. As you say too much of a money spinner and it'd cost them a fortune to administrate.

The MINI boot is mini. The new MAXI would be as big as an old Range Rover. I'll give you the point about diesel.
