Headlights failed MOT with faulty reflectors. Anyone got any idea how much I'm likely to have to pay to replace these? I know it's a big job to take the lights out and reseal them. 1997 4.2.

cheers

I'n about to do this on mine as they're a bit ropy (still passed MOT though).

The relectors are from a Scania truck, but TVR Power in Coventry supplied mine for about £25+vat each. Truck specialists were no cheaper.

Although I haven't done the work yet, I'm informed that the reflectors can be removed via the access panel in the front wheel arch.

Having thought a little about this I am now thinking the panel in the arch is too small, I cant remember!

If it is there are a couple of other 'wing nut' fasteners inside the panel, undo these and the whole light pod should come out forwards, I will have a look in my manual when I get to work tomorrow.
