Classified login

I've never previously logged into the classifieds section before (only normally use the forum login), however I'm wanting to try my hand at selling my car on here and was under the impression that if you had been a member for x amount of time you could do it for free..? Do I have to register for classifieds as well?

Any advice on this matter would be much appreciated.

It would appear so, had to do the same myself the other day.

The response was less than enthusiastic I must admit, autotrader much better

Free ads avaliable to those who joined before Jan 2009.
I think you need to sign up for classifieds & may possibly need a techie to "approve" you for free ads, (they're usually on the ball for this)

GSE - you should be able to login with your forum login and password, but let me know if you have any problems and I'll get a techie to have a look for you in the morning.

As Shaw Tarse says, you would qualify for a free ad because of the age of your account, so hold tight and we'll try and have you sorted in the morning.

There are a small number of accounts which had this problem when we migrated the accounts over to the new platform, of which I was one. We'll have you up and running in the morning.

Just tried to create a new account under my username and it states that the user already exists..? Wild prefer it if I could use the same username for both logins if possible

Are you able to register with your e-mail address as your username?
