Which are the best photography forums

I enjoy the PH photography forum so thought it might be worth joining a dedicated photography forum.

Which are considered the "Pistonheads" of the photography world?

Talk photography is busy.

The luminous landscape if that's your thing.

I find people most friendly on POTN but it is very much a Canon forum. Talk photography I find a bit cold with lots of people looking but few commenting even on their bird section where, when I joined, I made a point of posting constructive comment on virtually everything I looked at. PH is middle ground, some friendly folk some not. Fred Miranda I've only rarely looked at so not sure about that. If birds and wildlife hold any interest for you, birdforum.net has a photography section and some top quality images on the various threads.

NikonCafe.com if you are a Nikon person. Great forum, members are friendly and helpful and it's full of good advice.....for Nikons!

I'm finding that Google+ is a great place to share and talk about pictures.

Much better than FB for the social side of things, not least because it doesn't crush your photos beneath the jackbooted heel of some ridiculous compression algorithm.
