Steering Rack - Shocks & Waxoil

6000 mile service yesterday. Advised steering rack worn and needs replacing. Also, one leaking Leda shock.

Has anyone experience of rebuilding racks (non p/a)and as Leda seem to have gone bust what shocks does everyone recommend for fast road use?

Oh, anyone know somewhere who will waxoil in Hampshire?
