Trax Show @ Silverstone
Discussion
Just a quick one to see if anyone had any experience with the track sessions at shows like these - is it going to be worth doing or is it going to be full of chavs in Corsas driving like twonks?
It just seems like quite a good opportunity, since I'm going to be there anyway, to get a little bit of track time for £30 which is peanuts really.
I went last year and although the morning was fairly wet, don't remember seeing any major incidents on the track.

Some of the best track sessions that I have done have been at Trax Silverstone. Well worth doing but yes you do get some right idiots out on track.
Fun session from last year.

What level of session was that? I've done a few track days now but not sure whether I'm quite at 'intermediate' level yet or not. I'm also maybe thinking that all the terrible drivers are going to think themselves more talented than they are and go for the more advanced sessions.Fun session from last year.

It was an advanced session! I found the briefing to be very poor at trax, but they did say only overtake on the left. I stuck to the rules for this session and was blocked by the Noble and the Vauxhall. It soon became clear that it was actually a free for all with drivers overtaking on either side which as far as i could see wasnt policed at all.
I also do the Action Days at Castle Combe which are similar but they use a Yellow & Red card system for bad driving.
Been doing trackdays for over 10 years and I find these sort of days to be the most exciting.
