Can't believe at 40 years old, I was jumping up and down like a silly little schoolgirl when I realised the Peter Wheeler who was on my flight, was THE Peter Wheeler.
As Cabin Crew, I always look through the passenger name list, and today I saw that a Mr and Mrs Wheeler were travelling on my flight. I decided that, nah, it couldn't be who I think it is. However, curiosity got the better of me and when Mr. Wheeler disembarked, I asked if he was the Peter Wheeler from TVR. When he said yes, I literally jumped up and down, clapping my hands and told him he'd made my day (well he had, sad person that I am!). I then proceeded to embarrass myself even further by yelling down the stairs to him that I've got a Griffith 500 in the car park!!!
So, Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler, if you do read these forums, please accept my apologies for my unprofessional behaviour! But you really did make my day!!

Good for you. I saw PW at Donington earlier this year, and didn't have the guts to thank him for designing Wol, our Griff.

You said it! You'd think I'd have realised that, when Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler started walking very quickly and then running when I was trying to shout to them that I also had an S2 and my dream car is a Tuscan Speed Six!

He was lying of course, being very much *EX* TVR now. I wonder where he was off to? Somewhere exotic to enjoy his new found wealth no doubt?
