Forgive me.. But what stereo?
Discussion
Hi all.
I'm going on a driving holiday to France and then on to classic spa in may. Can't wait.
As much as we love the car sound, pretty sure at some point we will want to listen to some music.
So what stereos have people got in their cars?
Ideally I would like it iPod/iPhone adaptable and not too expensive
As always, any guidance always appreciated!

I put a Sony DSX-S100 CD-less Car Stereo with Smart Compartment in mine. Sounds great and the iPod/phone sits neatly inside it in a compartment behind the Facia. You can control the iPod/iphone from the facia. If you want hands free there is another model that will accommodate.
Looks good. I don't know why it's taken so long to develop though TBH. Fusion have made a marine stereo you can put your iPhone inside for years. I came up with an idea at school of having a stereo that came with a detachable MP3 player you mounted inside, but could also take with you and plug headphones into. This was when MP3's had just been developed and before the iPod. I could have been rich if I'd ever done anything about it! Haha!
I have just fitted a Pioneer DEH-8400BT it is designed for IPod/iPhone and has 2 USB ports and an SD slot.
It also has Bluetooth technology which was my main reason for the Purchase.
I fitted it yesterday and it looks really smart IMO.
the price on eBay brand new is £99 plus £10 P&P
