B&W Processing NSFW

Hi, I'm struggling to replicate the B&W processing a client wants. The reference I've been given is DEFO NSFW http://bice2.tumblr.com/ DEFO NSFW (and there's bloody music on the site too). How do I get similar image processing? What is the go-to plug-in for LR / PS for Portraits / Lingerie.

Though there are some nice images in that link, there is not a single theme with regard to the processing. Is there a particular image there that you want to emulate?

If you're using Photoshop I find Silver Efex gives you quite a bit of control over b&w conversions.

Anyway, I think in most of those images (if you want to replicate them) the lighting is a more important factor than the processing.

I think most of them were definitely taken with a camera of some sort. I'll have to look into them a bit further, so to speak.

That's the impression I got after struggling to emulate the tonal quality.

Where on earth do I buy Silver efex from? Is the only outlet Nik's online site? Pay, download and get serial?

I'd definitely second the recommendation for Silver Efex. I might be teaching you to suck eggs here, but don't be afraid to do two different B&W conversions, say a smooth low-contrast one for skin and a grittier one for everything else, and use the appropriate part of each layer.

Hadn't thought about that! Seems I can only get Silver efex from Nik and have to buy the whole suite / range for $150. I only want the B&W bit. I tried the colour one and its hideous! My dog could do better!
