Before I start ringing around can someone give me an idea, by way of a benchmark, for what I should be paying for a bonnet re-spray?

Car is a metallic Honda Civic. No rust just lots of stone chips.

Thanks in anticipation.

about £150 depending on how "bad" the stonechips are. £200 wouldn't really be out the way if it's been "shot blasted" by them smile

£200 I would say is a little on the low side - but it will depend on what kind of quality you're looking for.
And depending on the colour and how well you want the colour to match you may also need the wings and bumper blown in which will obviously increase the cost.

What age Civic? I'm guessing post 2005 shape that has the more blunt front end? If so it will be Alabastar Silver which is not an edge to edge match and will need blowing colour into the front wings. You can get away with it on a Jazz as the wings slope away more but the Civic has more prominent wings.

It's a 2010 car in a black metallic. "Crystal" I think it's called.

I'd be looking for a good finish.

I would charge £300 for the bonnet and £50-80 per wing if blend is required.
