Alfa 75 3.0 v6

Firstly this is a good friends car but I got to spend a good bit of time driving it at the weekend and was so taken with it I thought I'd do a thread!
It's a 92 car making it one of the last and he's spent a lot of time and money making it probably one of the best left, climbing in the dash is a blast from the past, window switches are on the roof but this all seems to add to the experience. Engine fires up with the welcome alfa rasp....surprisingly similar to a 3.2 gta engine! Pulls really well, I was in my wife's abarth 500, when we swapped and I was in the alfa there really was nothing in it, alfa probably had the legs at higher speed.
The car handles superbly, a directness missing in todays offerings, and the whole car is just an event from the moment you approach it. I'm probably biased as I love older cars and I love alfa's.
Trying in vain to figure out how I can carve room for another car in the garage when he moves onto his next project

I had a late 92 75 TS LE which I sold for all the wrong reasons, just because it needed a few jobs doing & I came into some money & bought a crappy Subaru Legacy ex demo.
I struggled to sell the ALfa at 118K despite full S/H & all the bills. What I should have done is got shot of the Subaru.
I really miss that car, as it was it our honeymoon car & took us to the south of france.
Mine was very reliable as well. Once the bodges done by a local garage had been sorted.

Such a quirky design from window buttons to slightly off centre tailpipe.
My dad traded it it for a 164 v6 and now has a 01 spider TS which he has had from virtually new...
I myself fought the bug and have had 2 gta's under my belt
