Any rear C63 tyres spare (part worns) anyone?

Morning Gents,

I'm off for a day locally to explore the 63's limits (a hired airstrip with a bunch of friends).

The surface is pretty rough and I don't fancy shedding my new tyres!

Does anybody have any old tyres/rear wheels with tyres that they are looking to sell?

I need to sort by Saturday if possible, will any other marque of wheels or models fit the 63?

I can't help you, but good idea. No big tyre distributors you can try?

As another alternative, I just fitted some Kuhmo LE Sport tyres to mine. They were only 100 each for the rears.
They are actually very very good. And a lot cheaper than the usual Conti/Mich/Pirelli option

I didn't manage to get any part worns, so..........

Mine lasted about 25 miles!!!!!!!

That is a 1600 mile life on my rears!

Contis going on as we speak.

Advice, don't go and 'play' on an airfield track with a 63, unless you have spare tyres, or a budget of £500+ per outing :-)
