Does anyone know what model caliper this is or how to tell as there are no numbers stamped on.One for Brummie i would susspect as i want to talk to him about pads to fit them. The number on the new pads is a mintex number but i'm not sure they are what i should be using anyway.

My best guess would be AP CP5555-810/11

If they are then CP3894D54-APF404 Pads would fit.

The callipers are CP5555. Seal kit for them is CP4519-CEJ. 362mm vented disc on a Tuscan.

The pads are Mintex and F2R is the compound - they come in F1R, F2R, F3R and F4R.

I've been using F2R on the front of Sagaris for quite some time and braking has been excellent. F2 pads for the 6 pots are £185 + VAT for a set. F4 are a little softer and have slightly more bite from cold - though I was looking at comparison graphs with KVW last night and there really wasn't much difference between the F2 and the F4.

Pad life on the F2 has been very reasonable, especially in races of 30 mins or less. I would probably move to a Pagid RS29 for a 3 hour or more race. The RS29s are about £250 for a set.

If money is no object then I'd go Project Mui for endurance racing. £500 a set, but will last a 24 hr race and are kind to the discs.

P.S. - what's with the spacers? They'll be putting additional strain on the hub and the wheel bearings
