For those of you how didn't watch the Shanghai GP, this was one of many, but I think the worst, piece of drivel to come out of James Allens' mouth. 
He was refering to the Chinese characters on the rear wing of Ralf Schumakers Williams.
Surely a professional commentator would do a smidgen of research for a race, and learn what the advertising was about. Rather than come up with some stupid comment.

Now I didnt used to have a problem with the guy, he was a bit of a goof but not too bad.
I swear he's got worse! Or i've been paying too much attention to other peoples opinions on here.
One good point with our coverage here in NZ, we only got 2 or 3 ad breaks during the entire race. We can also tell when you guys get an ad break on ITV cause we get race pics and sound but no commentary.

Yes I think James Allen is an adequate commentator but he's trying to hard to be Murray Walker (who, as much as we loved him, sounded stupid too!). He should just leave emotion until it naturally occours, just like Ben Edwards in the BTCC. Don't pretend to be excited.
If he says "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" on more time...this IS NOT Brazillian Football, its F1!
Of course i would like Allan McNish to join Brundle in the box. Allan is amazingly fluid i think and would be a fantastic commentator. And he knows what he's on about...
