Purchased 2005 Seal gray C2 @ factory del in Oct 04 and have only 17,000 miles with just routine service. Has standard 18inch wheels. Interested in wheel upgrade using original Porsche spec, such as Turbo wheels, will they fit?

Oh and Turboid wheels will fit but will stick out past the arches and look a bit crap I think - there's been a recent post with a dark blue 996 on wider wheels, can't remember which - I'll try to dig it out

You sure you want to change the 18s? I seem to remember the C2 is a better drive on 18s than anything else.

If you're thinking about a change to Porsche 19" wheels your best bet may be something from a Carrera S. The wheels are 8 x 19 front with a 57 off-set and 11 x 19 rear with a 67 off-set (if memory serves correct). As stated above, wheels from a wide-body 4 wheel drive 997 stick out a bit. Some people like it, some don't.

IIRC 996 narrow body is best on 17" wheels. 996/997s 18s are the best compromise, but correct tyre choice important. 19" might look good, but might not be best for ride/handling.
