Contact at Alfa Romeo archive in Italy

Using the contact details kindly suggested by other members of this Forum, I emailed Alfa Romeo in an attempt to discover where my 156 GTA was listed in the production numbers. ( I believe that it could be the last off the line ).

The guy I contacted was very approachable but could only tell me one thing i.e. that only 515 156 GTA's were ever made.
I find it hard to believe that his records were unable to answer the above question and the other one I put to him i.e. how many GTA's were Selespeed cars.

Do others share my surprise at this lack of information ? Or does anyone know of an alternative source !

I could tell you exactly when it was built, using ePER, but not anything about where it fitted in the grand scheme of things.

I'd need the VIN.
