Before anyone says it, yes I am seeing a Doctor next week. I am just curious as to what it could be before that.

About 4 weeks ago, I was knelt down on the carpet while I was moving some equipment in the TV cabinet, and I had a sharp pain in the knee almost identical to if I had knelt down on a large marble or something. In fact at first, I thought I had.

Thought nothing really of it and pressed around the area of the knee, nothing came back.

Moving on a few weeks every time I kneel down, the pain has got very much worse and now if I lightly press on the area even where standing, it is hurting more.

Strangely, if I am standing up it doesn't hurt at all (although I can feel something is not right - hard to explain)

Its on my left leg, and if I am sitting down in a normal seating position and press lightly just to the left of the kneecap, its there and incredibly painful.

Anyone had anything similar, like I said I am just curious.

Housemaid's Knee? hehe
It's a real thing... has your knee puffed up?

I won't let the other half see that... wink. Nope, all looks totally normal from the outside.
