As I've only just recently got my GT3 CS I've not had a proper chance to play about with the harness but I was just wondering if there's a correct way to doing it up, i.e - do you start with the shoulder straps or the lower ones before adjusting or does it not really matter as long as everything is good and tight?

With a 4 point I've always done lower 1st, good & properly tight & low, then shoulders.

Tighten the lower straps first. You need them good and tight. Then connect the shoulder straps and tighten. The lower straps need to stay low across your lap. If too loose, or you tighten shoulder straps first the lower ones ride up, and you will 'submarine' under them in a crash...

Hint
Before tightening the shoulder straps have your helmet and gloves within reach, oh and shut your door.

Also, unless driving on track it is it really recommended. It restricts you moving around in the car to view properly from junctions etc.

Another tip for getting the lap belt tight....before doing it up move your seat back one click and then pull it forwards one click when you're buckled up. It'll be nice and snug then and you can move on to the shoulder straps.

Aswell as helmet, gloves, closed door etc....make sure your keys are in the ignition and not in your pocket. I've made this mistake a few times. biggrin
