Hi a bit stuck as there apears to be two ways to fit the inlet gasket. The waterways are different on either side some have large holes some pin holes etc. I have pictured the two possibilites if anyone could tel me which is correct that would be a massive help

Does the underside of the intake manifold not offer any hints?

All sorted it was number 1
If you look at the cork in the centre, one is curved one is straight to match the block.

make sure to apply some blue silicon to the 'creases' at the fore and aft, thats were oil will leak....

also apply some coppaslip to the water-channels !

I did apply the silicone but not the coppaslip will it make much difference?

just a precaution, a little smear will tighten better
