Added to the fleet recently with this little beauty:

(very) basic spec S2 short roof Elise (is it called a sport tourer?) 118 rampaging BHP and lots of fun.
Had it a week and other than having to urgently change the brake pads (EBC out mintex in) Its a bit of a peach. K series engine is cracking and makes such a nice noise. Possibly the best sounding 4 pot? Non Servo brakes although now much improved take a bit of getting used to.
Have some plans for this little car
Carbon bits and a respray on the cards hopefully in time for the Lotus show in August!

Carbon bits and a respray on the cards hopefully in time for the Lotus show in August!Faultless choice of car! K series was 118bhp in the S1 but rose to the heady heights of 120bhp for the S2 as Lotus used their own ECU second time around.
Close ratio gearbox found its way into the bog standard S2 too. Does make them feel quite lively!
1144's are a great pad. I've used them for close to 10 years.
Enjoy

This has a hurricane induction kit on but stock exhaust. It sounds fantastic!
I'm on seloc (jonnyboy)
The car is going to be stripped a wee bit in the next couple of weeks as we need the front clam for a little project (link in profile might give a clue) When we get the clam back it will be buggered so will need repainting. I figured it was rude not to go for a colourchange while I'm at it

I really like the colour. Its on my list of elises to shop for this year. Saying that we own a jewish gold merc i quite like too....
I nearly succumbed to ending my loan a few months early to get one before the summer ends but I shall be strong... I think about these cars nearly every day and constantly check the ads. Everywhere.... Amazing car, truly mini supercar looks with the economy of a fiesta.
