PPI on 996 in West Sussex

Hi everyone,

Been reading the forum for ages, but first post, so hello all.

The forum has been a great read and I have managed to acquire lots of information in my quest for my first Porsche. A life ling dream.

I've been on the hunt for a 996 4s and have put a deposit on one at a dealer in the Billinghurst area of West Sussex. It seems to tick all of the boxes and the purchase will go through subject to there being no show stoppers coming up in a PPI. The dealer has recommended his mechanic, but I'd rather get someone independent for obvious reasons.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a PPI in this area? I have used the search facility and found some posts referring to Nine Excellence and Parr. Has anyone used either of them? Any other recommendations closer to Billinghurst, or any advice would be greatly appreciated.

9E might come out and do it but they may ask the car to be brought to them. Paul Sage at Jota will do it and he knows his stuff! Chris Cogley is also very good, hes at Diablo engineering in hand cross. Both know Porsches inside out and have done lots of work for me.

Thanks VonSenger. Chris Cobley has been recommended by the seller, who seems to be a stand up guy, but I'm worried about impartiality in this case. I'll definitely check out your other suggestions.

Had my first service at 9E recently. They were very good and certainly went through my car with a fine tooth comb so I'm sure they'd do a good job if they do PPI.

9E did a ppi on a gt3 I was looking at.

the report was thorough and they were nice to deal with, took time to chat through their findings, I'd use them again
