Hello,
I realized that in my 3000M a previous owner had installed an ignition switch from an Austin Maestro. It worked well but since therefore also the strengthening arms were missing I am going to reverse it back to original. I have bought the steering column and the TR6 Ignition switch and I now need help to put the cables in the richt place.
There are 4 cables:

- Constant electricity (brown)
- Radio on (but ignition still off)(white-brown)
- Ignition on (white)
- starter on (white-red)
Can anyone tell me where to attach those cables to the TR6 ignition switch (see picture)?

Many thanks for your help
Alex

on mine the single terminal is the feed to starter solenoid, going round clockwise next is accessories (radio etc.) then live from battery and last is ignition feed.

Do you have a meter or at least a test lamp, shouldn't be difficult to check......yours may be different !

I checked it with a resistance meter ( after some instruction by a friend :-) ) and indeed it is slightly different. The single connector is the starter, then clockwise radio, ignition and live from battery.
Thanks, Alex
