iPad: Ad closing Safari and switching to App Store

Hi

I don't mind advertising at all as it obviously pays for the forum.

What is a bit extreme though that I keep being re-directed to a site that closes my browser(Safari on iPad) and opens the app store with their product.

At that point I cannot actually view the forum content even if I return to the browser as I keep being redirected.
My only choice is to try different topics until one does not close my browser.

It makes viewing pistonheads on the iPad very tedious!

Is this automatc switch to the app store wanted?

They basically activate the switch to the App Store, (the same as when you click on an app link designed for that), and yes, it is bloody annoying. Never had one on PH though.
