R078s are probably the best for the money but the closing "mechanism" is three velcro straps which are ok, but i regret not spending a bit more on shoes when I bought the DHBs as a ratchet strap is very useful in allowing you to fine tune the fit. The DHB R2.0 will probably have a stiffer sole too but are £80.

Very comfy, super adjustable, and, most important of all, a Carbon Fibre sole for all to see/worship.
There are much more effective ways to cut weight/improve stiffness elsewhere on you/your bike, but I got a really good deal on the shoes when I bought my bike. Just as I'm more than likely 'over-biked', I'm also probably 'over-shod'.
The prices I've linked to above are even better than what I paid 18 months or so ago. I've had no issue at all with the shoes, except the one of my own making. I scuffed the ratchet strap and outer edge of the sole on the right shoe when I crashed my bike and slid along the floor still attached to it. Shoes are still perfectly serviceable though, so pretty tough into the bargain.

Your choices are limited at that budget. I have the RO77s. They have been fine for me, but I don't know how long the velcro straps will last. Will probably spend a bit more next time and get something with a ratchet strap instead. But i have no idea what to go for.

DHBs entry level shoes from Wiggle are a good bet too. The DHBs also fair very well in the magazine reviews.
