After years of trusty service my Elite has finally succumbed to the RROD. I fancy a crack at repairing it - can someone please point me to the best online resource (and method) for carrying out the repair?

i would check out youtube as there will be a few videos up there , when my ps3 died we check out youtube and brought that back to life so you will be able to do the same with the xbox
