Locking wheel nut help please!!
Discussion
Hi all,
I've just posted this in general gassing, but it looks as if its a genuine porsche part.
Basically, I've just purchased a 944 and its missing the locking wheel nut. Its they key type. Does anyone have experience of getting them off?
I'm worried i've bought a bit of a pup anyway, and this issue is making it even worse!

Those are official porsche bits - I have them.
It might be your local porsche centre still have the master set or failing that try other owners nearby.
I'd post this on the pcgb and/or tipec sites (both free to join) as there is a lot of front engine traffic on there. Someone will be able to help I'd imagine.
What's wrong with the rest of it?

Thanks, I'm members of both so hopefully someone can help.
Well... I paid 3k which was top of budget, but it seemed very straight with only 3 owners and a new clutch and 100k.
I think maybe ive paid too much really? especially as i need to do the belts (look new but no record of change so i dont dare), the exhaust needed welding, dials are all over the place (bad earth i think). Needs a new battery and the paint probably isnt as good as i first thought.
Maybe i'm just on a downer about it, I hope it grows on me fast because I'm quite keen on fixing the little bits then turning it over and hopefully getting back close to what I've paid.
