My 2c is that existing titles from bigger publishers will produce the best interactive/tablet titles, simply because of money. Look at what Evo does with its video for instance - that kind of stuff costs an utter fortune. A startup journo can easily blag a press drive; blagging a cameraperson, HD kit, microphones etc is another kettle of scaly chaps.

I've been signed up with the American title "Winding Road" since it started, which often has some very good articles.

www.thetruthaboutcars.com is a US online magazine, but they cover the global car market, and have some great feature writers including Jack Baruth.

Not a great Jalopnik fan. Just seems to be click-baiting nonsense. Current top story is a video "Watch A Ferrari Owner Go Nuts On This 'Pee Prankster'".excel monkey said:

Very US-centric so far. Does nobody in the UK write about cars?
Yes !All I could see was an RSPCA ad taking up the bulk of the front page. Took me a while to work out that if I clicked through it took me to another page where a third 'oh so humorous' ad for the Pug was. From the front page, all I could see was the two dog ads.
So annoyed that your site appeared to be mega-intrusively advertising heavy that I didn't want to read any more.
