Hi chaps.
Is there anyone out there with experience/knowledge of mapping the Omex 710 ecu who could enlighten me?
How long would you expect it to take to create a full map, from scratch,on a TVR?
No sort of base map to work from, completely from scratch, start to finish? Any ideas?
Many thanks.

Hi, my local Belgian dealer has asked me to lend my Sagaris for a couple of months. He wants to start selling OMEX chips for the Speed6 and he will be using my car as a basis for development. I have a 2006 Sagaris which is currently restricted to 342bhp while my T350 (also a 4 liter) has about 385bhp so I hope to gain a lot. Will post progress reports.
It depends how good you want your map to be, and whether your mapper did the install or has to trace all the wiring to configure the pinouts on the Omex correctly. You could have something up and running and driveable in say 4 hours if it all went according to plan and your installer did the mapping. Or if he has to trace every wire, configure the ecu, and then give you a car that closely resembles a production car in every respect including emissions (though not sure if that's possible on an omex) then expect that to take months and tens of thousands of miles in all weather climates just like a production car would.
