Nothing to write about styling and interior and all that because it is all personal preference but one thing I can say is the performance is fantastic.

I have heard some criticism that the S is not that fast but having given it some welly today I think those test pilots must have been changing up far too early. This car is properly fast after 5000rpm all the way to 7000rpm and sounds great at the same time. It beats my old E46M3 in a drag race anyday !

Handling was very impressive but the rear end is a bitch to get moving. If anything it is a little too planted as this car naturally understeers when you are hammering it and I would have liked a little more movement from the rear to even things up. the steering was brilliant too and although nowhere near as good as a GT3's it still let me know exactly how much the fronts was sliding.

As for roadholding well bugger me it is like glue and I wasn't hanging about ;-) Even I would be hard pressed to push my Fireblade down this road any faster and if you need it to go faster still you are insane !!! The salesman was suspiciously quiet when we hit the country roads but fair credit to him he never asked me to slow down but I bet he was grateful when the fuel warning light came on

Finally the ride on this PASM equipped car was pretty hard in Sport mode so god knows what mine will feel like with a 20mm drop

Oh and it sounds the mutts when it is above 5000rpm which is a good thing as I was desperately dissapointed not to be able to have the sports exhaust available at the time of speccing my car.

Overall I am still very excited about getting my new car which is a good thing cos I have waited ages for it.

ps it still accelerates quite well at 125 plus in 4th.
pps I feel damn sorry for this cars second owner if this is the way demos get abused.
