First of all, let me say I have never listened to Justin Bieber. I'd rather catch anthrax than listen to his unimaginative drivel.

But I digress. I was reading a newspaper article the other day and it made some interesting points. Bieber has openly stated he idolises Jackson and has started exhibiting some very weird tendencies in public:
Jackson used to wear surgical masks. Bieber was spotted recently in a gas mask
Jackson had a pet monkey. Bieber had his confiscated by airport security and had a paddy over it
Jackson caused public outrage by baby dangling. Bieber has just caused outrage by writing in the Anne Frank House guestbook "she would have been a Belieber" (one of disturbingly obsessed teenage girl fans of his)
All this comes, of course, after his temper tantrum for being treated with the contempt he deserves on his recent UK tour.

So, how long before this annoying petulant little brat turns into the music world's next uber-weirdo?

I couldn't name one song by that ahole. I'm sure he will be thrown away by the record company soon, out of date and all that. He'll never be anything like Jacko. Jacko had talent.

You don't need to eat dog po to know it's not going to be very appetising.

Personally, my rule is, any 'musician' you first hear about by seeing their calendar on sale on a stall in a shopping mall probably isn't going to be much cop.

in 50 years justin bieber will be a distant memory , but MJ will still be well known and still have a lot of influence on musicians.

No, sorry, in 50 years MJ will be the paedophile nutter with the pet monkey and the massive plastic surgery bill.

I would suspect that aside from the kiddy fiddling, Justin Bieber will also be remembered as a nutter with a pet monkey and a massive plastic surgery bill.
