Fuel Pump

Im not sure if this is normal but when i start my S up and its on idle
my fuel pump sounds quiet loud inside the car is this normal or are they
all like that nige.

Mine is noisy if I'm less than 1/4 full. This is because my fuel hose goes up and over the halfshafts and the pump struggles to keep pulling a steady fuel flow.

Fill her up and see if it gets quieter....

I only notice the intial buzz on turning on ignition, once engine started I cannot hear anything. Pardon

Mine is really noisy. I've got a horrible feeling it's on the way out so I've got a spare sitting in the boot with a few tools, just in case.

Mine's fairly new and you can always hear the buggar going.
