PHEA Calendar 2013!

Morning everyone!

I hereby announce the PistonHeads East Anglia Calendar 2013!

You'll notice that I have kept our firm favourites while added a couple of new ones for your enjoyment. We also have a couple of Runs

FULL DETAILS for each Event will be posted a couple of weeks before that Event is due to occur. However, if there is something you like the look of now, then you can of course let me know earlier on this thread or by contacting me via my profile.
Pub Meets will also happen throughout the year. Notification of these will be forthcoming 2-3 weeks before each Meet

18th August	SHOW	Stonham Barns Show
26th August	SHOW	Lavenham Rare Breeds
1st September	SHOW	Classic & Sports Cars by the Lake (near Bury St Edmunds)
29th September	RUN	September Late Summer Run (Suffolk & Norfolk)
17th November	SHOW	Charity Motor Show, Snetterton
15thDecember	NOSH	December Christmas Dinner

While all vehicles are welcome to Pub Meets & Runs, I am often asked by PHEA members if their car is "suitable" for a Show.
PistonHeads East Anglia is all about the variety of cars and their owners. Anything fast, rare, expensive, classic or unusual is always welcome.
If you are unsure, I would simply ask yourself if you would be happy to see your car as a paying member of the public
Of course I can always check with the organisers, if you're still unsure

I think that about covers it for now.
I'll update the "TBC" entries as and when I have the confirmation

Hopefully see you all soon at one of our Events.

Are there no Stanton Pub meets other than the Xmas nosh?

What I think I'm asking is that are we to assume that they happen
every month within a set period. Sundays are pretty busy, so short
term notice doesn't help with pencilling them in. The PHEA Web site
isn't helpful in answering this...

Hello Steve,

Stanton Pub Meets aren't posted on the official Calendar.

As they aren't regular (due to clashing with Shows), I can't guarantee when we will definitely have one.
I am considering a trial period of changing the time of the month for each Meet to ensure we get one a month. Details of this will be forthcoming

By short notice, it will be 2-3 weeks prior to the Meet - Now specified in the OP

The PHEA website is currently undergoing a freshen-up, and will be re-launched very soon. For the time being, the current site is up and running.

**DATES UPDATE**

Classic and Sports Cars by the Lake is on the Sunday 1st September, not the 8th as previously mentioned.

Charity Race Experience is on Sunday 17th November.

More dates and confirmation when I have it.

I did the charity race day last year..was great fun giving passenger rides on the 100 circuit 😎

It is being run in conjunction with PHEA Member fasteddys.
