I know theres been several posts about aluminium dashes, but none I can find actually tell me where I can buy one from, does anybody know.

Or if you're a bit handy, buy a chunk of nice-patterned aluminium and make it yourself? I guess you could use the old one as a template.

done this with my s3, its not too hard and looks the d.b's. 15 quids for the alu and about 2-3 hours work to do the actual panel.removing it takes a lot longer believe me.still got the scars.
got thin alu (about 2mm) and bonded it to the rubbed down dash panel. however p'd the girlfriend off a bit as i done it on the kitchen table!

I also make these dashes (aluminium) in brushed or anodised or Swirl pattern. £175 Diy or £300 fitted. Check out TVR Parts classifed section (over 7 days old)

and if anyone is interested there's a lovely set of 18" Spider-esque alloys for sale with spacer kit to fit a Griff or Chimaera. Looked mint on my Griff, the tyres did no more than 200 miles.

If they don't go, i'm gonna put them on my Focus oil burner for a laugh.
