Bought this a couple of weeks ago for some summer fun and to promote my business.
It's a 1965 1300 Beetle, in good condition and is a lot of fun! I can't help but smile when driving this thing.
Best of all tax is free and fully comp insurance is £87.55, so that's taxed and insured for less than a tank of petrol in my M5, genius. Got it for a good price and I can't see it depreciating so it's win-win
(stickers are just mocked up in photoshop)

That is lovely.
If you dont mind, could you give an indication as to what you paid?
No probs, I've been watching the market for a year or so and it seems that a nice original 60s car in this colour (or similar) goes for about £4,750 - £5,000. I paid £4,200 and was pretty happy with that. My max bid was £4,800...so IMO it's a good buy. I spoke to the seller afterwards and apparently three people had phoned at the end of the auction saying they would have paid more so would buy it if I didn't - poss seller BS but tbh the seller seemed like a really good guy. He's got a couple of other Beetles ending on eBay today. If you dont mind, could you give an indication as to what you paid?
That's a really good price, for a smart looking early car .... I thought you were going to come back with something five-figures to be honest.
Please keep it standard, and don't slam it in the weeds on shiny Porsche rims, like everyone else seems to do to give their car a "unique" look.

Well fingers crossed I can't see it depreciating and parts are pretty cheap so overall it should be fairly cheap motoring.
The appeal of this one is its original looks so don't worry, it won't be getting pimped. I might put a vintage roof rack on it for promotional reasons (it means the branding is removeable and it gives me more space to use without spoiling the car itself) but other than that it's staying as it is
I don't want to look like a surfer/student, the car looks spot on just as it is.
